Sun Temple, Katarmal, Kosi, Almora
Katarmal is known for a relatively rare Surya temple, constructed by the Katyuri Kings in the 9th century CE[1] and bears witness to the architecture of the day. Masons of the time used a mixture of lime and lentil paste to make the adhesive agent.[4] Katarmalla, a Katyuri king constructed this temple, which has 44 smaller temples around the main deity of Surya, which called as Burhadita or Vraddhaditya.

Katarmal is located at a distance of 1.5 km from Kosi village and 12 km from the district center, Almora and 70 km from Nainital. Located at a height of 2116 meters above sea level.
Jageshwar Dhaam, Almora
Jageshwar is a Hindu pilgrimage town near Almora. It is one of the Dhams in the Shaivism tradition. The site is protected under Indian laws and managed by the Archaeological Survey of India.

Jageshwar temples is located in the side of river Jata Ganga at a height of 1870 meter. The Main temple of Shiva is covered by 124 small ancient temples of different gods. According to Skandha Purana and Linga Purana the workship of lord Shiva was started from Jageshwar and 8th Shiva Jyotirlinga was originated here
Baijnath Temple, Garur, Bageshwar
Baijnath is famous for its ancient temples, located at an altitude of 1126 mts, on the banks of the Gomti River in Garur town near Bageshwar district.

Baijnath temple are said to be built by the Kumaon Katyuri kings in around 1150 A.D. Baijnath was the capital of Katyuri kings who ruled the area from 7th to 11th century A.D. then it was known as Kartikeyapura and lies in the center of katyur valley.

Patal Bhuwaneshwar, Pithoragarh
Patal Bhuvaneshwar is a limestone cave temple 14 km from Gangolihat in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Legend and folklore have it that this cave enshrines Lord Shiva and thirty three koti demigods. The cave is 160 m long and 90 feet deep from the point of entrance. Limestone rock formations have created various spectacular stalactite and stalagmite figures of various hues and forms. This cave has a narrow tunnel-like opening which leads to a number of caves. The cave is fully electrically illuminated. Built by the flow of water, Patal Bhuvaneshwar is not just one cave, rather a series of caves within caves.
